17th century left handed dagger probably German measuring 19” overall with a 14” blade measuring 1 ¼” across the ricasso. The blade shows A well-defined raised median ridge and tapering gradually to pint. Wide guarddesigned to “Catch and Turn” sword blades measuring 6 ½” to outer edge. Nicely wire wrapped grip with large pommel. Good overall condition showing minor lamination flaws in forging along with moderate to light pitting. Very good condition overall. Style of 1580 to mid-17th century. Est.: $2000-$4000
