French MAS Model 1949-56 semi-automatic rifle, 7.5mm French caliber, Serial #G93041. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 23” barrel with a proprietary muzzle break. The metal surfaces retain a significantamount of their military finish. The detachable magazine has been welded in place and the muzzle break has been painted gloss black. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars and compressionsconsistent with service use. The butt stock includes sling swivels, leather period military sling and ends with a rubber slip on butt pad marked, “MAS 1962”. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markingsare legible.
