Czechoslovakian Model VZ-52 semi-automatic rifle, 7.62 x 45 caliber, Serial #G68524. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 20 ½” barrel with a hooded front and military tangent style rear sights. Themetal surfaces have gone to grey patina with military finish in the protected areas. The folding bayonet is intact and the rifle is import marked at the muzzle. The smooth wood stock shows moderate to heavy use with mars, dents and compressions consistent with service use. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. The lot includes a period leathermilitary sling. This gas operated battle rifle was put into service just after WWII by the Czechoslovakian army. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
