Husqvarna Commercial Model 98 Mauser bolt action sporting rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #55577. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” import marked barrel with a ramped blade front and standing leafrear sights. The barrel retains the majority of its blue finish with a sling swivel added. The barrel address reads, “HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. KAL. 8 m.m.” The receiver retains a significant amount of the factoryblue finish with light surface rust on the magazine base and a crisp crest marked, “SWEDEN” on the front ring. The checkered wood stock is in good condition with some flattening of the checkering, small mars anddents. The butt stock retains the sling swivels and ends with a Husqvarna marked plastic butt plate. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this Husqvarna. Est.: $350-$700.
