Pair of fine cased flintlock officer’s pistols by Westley Richards of London circa 1820-30s. The pair measures 12” overall with a 7 1/8” octagon barrel of .64-66 caliber smoothbore. Swivel ramrods. The pair shownearly all of their original brown and case hardened finish. Bright fire blue on guard’s rear ramrod thimble almost 100%. The stocks are almost fine with minor handling and slight wear to checkering. All correctflintlock parts. The interior of the case is good to very good with minor losses, slight fading and just normal aging. The mold, spring vice, screw driver, rod and small accessories included. The exterior is lightoak in good to very good condition. Carry handle and plate shows engraved tiger holding Scottish thistle which can be identified to Gordon Highlanders with initials “T.G.” in fancy script. Note: Westley Richards may have numbered the pair under the barrels and records are available however we did not want to disassemble such a nice set. (Antique) Est.: $3500-$7000

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
