Rare Smith & Wesson Model No. 3 First Model Single Action revolver, “oil hole”, .44 caliber, 8” barrel, dark patina over un-cleaned scattered pitting, early squared trigger, wood grips, S/N 407; overall fair to good condition with a good bore, good action, faint markings and overall good grips; only approximately the first 1,500 First Model No. 3’s had a small vent hole drilled into the extractor housing (hence“oil hole” designation). Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
