Fully machined and handmade copy of Colt Paterson No. 3 flared grip belt or pocket in .34 caliber with 5 ½” barrel. Made by “Pete” Peterson of San Diego as a display model for his personal collection. Each one of “Pete’s” handmade pistols were finely machined with a high degree of hand finishing. Mr. Peterson diligently researched each project and studied originals in Little John’s and other collections over a 40 year project. Eachhandmade arm took 6 months to a year to complete with his time estimated at 1000 hours plus on the average. At $30 per hour or $30,000 each in time Pete’s handmade arms were not an economic enterprise but a laborof love. Pete would give a gun away but never sell one as “He could not take that big of a loss!” Unmarked and fully operational with correct style rifling. (Percussion) Est.: $750-$1500

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
