Chilean Model 1912 Mauser M98 bolt action rifle, 7.62 x 51 NATO caliber, Serial #B7383. The rifle is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with a 29” import marked barrel. The metal surfaces retain asignificant amount of the original military finish with light surface rust evident on the barrel. The front ring features the Chilean crest and the side wall is marked, “WAFFENFABRIK STEYR AUSTRIA.” The receiveris caliber marked at the rear of the action. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars and bruises from carry and use. The butt stock shows numerous cartouches, including a dated crest on the left sidedated 1912. The ram rod and swivel slings are retained and the butt ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The lot includes a period OD green canvas rifle sling. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markingsare sharp on this Steyr manufactured Mauser. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
