German Mauser K98 bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #4029p. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” import marked barrel with a ramped blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The metalsurfaces have gone to a brown patina with light surface erosion and wear at the muzzle. The barrel is Nazi marked with an Eagle N proof. The front ring is coded “bnz” and dated 1944. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing heavy wear and use. There are numerous dents and scrapes consistent with service use. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate which is slightly proud at the toe. The bore is fair, theaction functions and the markings are sharp on this WWII era Nazi marked Mauser. During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
