Japanese Arisaka Type 97 bolt action rifle, 7.7 mm Japanese caliber, Serial #86641. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 32” barrel with a protected blade front and aircraft style rear sights (missing wings).The metal surfaces have gone to a dark patina with a crisp Mum emblem on the front ring. The bolt release assembly and magazine base plate are both missing. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition with a deep gougeon the left side, mars and compressions consistent with service use. The butt plate is missing from the butt stock. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
