Colt 1851 New Black Powder Series Navy in .36 cal. percussion, #15559. Fine to excellent condition showing little to no use, just minor storage and handling. In non Colt box with accessories. Plaque in lid inscribed"John Milius". Mr. Milius was well known in the Southern California "gun scene" active in the 1980's-2010 as a shooter and collector. Mr. Milius was a screenwriter and producer known for such films as Dirty Harry, The Wind and the Lion, The Man Who Would be King, Red Dawn, and some of the best scripts of the last 50 years. This Colt was traded to inventory at Ivory Beads gun shop on an expensive shotgun 20-30 years ago. Est.$500-1000

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
