Colt 1851 Small Guard Navy found in Mt. Shasta California in gold rush country by old Northern California collector, S/N 26990 in .36 caliber with all standard features remaining in good condition with gray patinaand scattered light erosion and pitting. Good markings with 10%-20% cylinder scene remaining. Front sight period changed to blade and post. All matching visible numbers. The grips are very good with 75% plusoriginal varnish with small losses at the toes and heels. The action is tight. Unfortunately our consignor’s father did not get the name of the family in Coloma 50 years ago when purchased from pioneer descendantsbut remembered they bought the Colt when emigrating on the pioneer trail from Ohio to California. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
