Hungarian Mauser Model M24/47 bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #E6716. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” barrel. The metal surfaces retain a significant amount of the military finishwith all matching visible serial numbers, including the butt stock. The smooth wood stock includes ramrod and sling swivels. The wood shows heavy use with mars, dents and an old coat of varnish. The butt stock endswith a smooth steel butt plate and a period leather sling has been added. The rifle is topped with a 3 x 9 x 50 BSA rifle scope. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $250-$500.(C+R).
