French MAS Model 1949/56 semi-automatic rifle, .308 caliber, Serial #G67748. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 21” barrel with the proprietary muzzle break. The metal surfaces retain asignificant amount of military finish with black painted applied to the muzzle break. The rifle is marked, “MADE IN FRANCE” and import marked on the left side of the receiver. The smooth wood stock is in goodcondition with sling swivels and a period leather sling added. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this French battle rifle re-chambered to .308. Est.: $400-$800. (C+R).
