German Oberndorf Mauser Model ES340 single-shot training rifle, .22 Long Rifle caliber, Serial #25358. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 26” barrel with a ramped blade front and rear sight ismilitary tangent style, calibrated from 30-200 meters. The metal surfaces retain a significant amount of toning blue finish with the remainder going to a brown patina. The receiver has a crisp Mauser emblem, is marked with BUG proofs and has all matching visible serial numbers. The checkered wood stock has finger grooves on the fore end, sling swivels and a large Mauser cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. There aresmall mars and compressions from carry and use. The hard rubber butt plate is marked with the Mauser banner logo. Unbelievably accurate, and of great workmanship, the rifle was manufactured by Mauser in 1924 and isnot import marked. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable, hard to find pre-war single shot. Est.: $400-$800. (C+R).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
