Smith and Wesson 1st Model Hand Ejector Triple Lock DA revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, Serial #2462. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 4” barrel with custom King sights. The pistol retains themajority of an old quality re-nickeled finish. The checkered wood medallion grips are in very good condition with sharp checkering. The pistol was originally obtained from the family of William Swanwick(1899-1991). According to the family, Swanwick joined the Navy in 1916 and sailed to China in defense of American interests. He later became a soldier of fortune in Mexico, Central and South America beforereturning to the U.S. His extensive training and experience with fire arms resulted in later support of the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team, at this own expense. The gun is in overall very good condition as re-finishedwith a crisp action, good bore and very good grips. Accompanying the gun is an expanded summary of Swanwick’s life and experiences along with a Smith & Wesson factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length, nickel

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
