A) Brass mounted 19th century gun case with classic carry ring mounted in center top of case. Shows citas. Lancaster label (for copper primer gun de early percussion). Double case for 2 matched shotguns measuring approx 32" and 29". The bottom of case lining and partitions are very good. Top has had partitions replicas and restored and only fair to good. Exterior fair to good. Imperfections, damage, aging.
B) Double shotgun case from pair constructed of leather over wood with brass fittings. Will Evans late of Purdey. Approx. 30" BBLS. Exterior dimensions 32X12-1/2 x 3-1/8 deep, embossed A Phillips Roberts Coed DV Frontshire Fair to good with minor damage, imperfection aging carry handle detached and inside.
C) Large english case for pair of shotguns with extra BBl. Labels removed - only changing info remains. Leather over oak with brass mounts. 30" BBLS approx. "Reads for breach leading guns probably mid to 3rd quarter 19th century. Dimensions 33x16x nearly 4" deep. G.W.C. embossed on lid. Fair to near good condition with many scuffs and losses to leather normal aging, imperfection, damage to interior.
D) Double shotgun case with Cogswell and Harrison Ltd. Label showing Victoria Station Address leather over oak with brass mounts. Approx 30" and 31" BBLS. 1 partition missing otherwise good lining just dirty. Outside leather shows scuffs, scrapes, small losses and oiling to dark color. 33-1/2 x 13-3/4 x 3-1/2" deep. Approx. fair to near good overall with wear, damages and aging
E) Canvas single case for shotgun with label in the lid which reads "William Read & Sons, Dealers in Guns and Shooting Tackle 13 Fan evil Hall sq., Boston". Label advertising ordinance, musketes, cutlasses, pistols, colts, revolvers, gun powder, flasks and pouches. 30-1/2 BBL gun approx, 20-1/2 by nearly 5" wide compartment for stocked action. Purple lining in fair to good condition with great label. Partitions loose . Straps broken. Canvas good leather deteriorating normal aging, small damages, imperfections a good lot of restorable on donor's for re-task as oak & leather case are expensive to custom order.
