1st Annual Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation Banquet and Fundraiser, Saturday, April 30, 2016, 5:00pm (Doors Open), 7:00 pm (Dinner) at the Dena’ina Convention Center (Downtown) Anchorage, Alaska.
The Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation (AK WSF) would like your support in our efforts to keep sheep on the mountains of Alaska.
The AK WSF Mission: Enhance wild sheep populations, promote scientific wildlife management, educate the public on the wild sheep, and protect and enhance sheep hunting and viewing opportunities in Alaska.
Last year we provided more than $240K to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for wildlife management through the proceeds of Special Permits ($171K) and direct grants of ($70K). This money was leveraged by the State using Wildlife Restoration Funds more commonly known as Pittman-Robertson funds which equates to almost $1M in funding for conservation.
