The top of the receiver is serrated to reduce glare. grip/stock configuration & condition: the refinished furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, 18-rib forend, and a checkered synthetic buttplate. The buttplate has light handling wear. The furniture shows pressure dings, scuffs, and scratches. There is a repair at the heel of the stock. There is also a notable nick on the the right side of the forend. The lop measures 13. 75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There is a small crack running from the upper tang of the receiver. The furniture rates in good condition. type of finish: bluedfinish originality: original except for a small spot of cold blue-touch up near the muzzlebore condition: the bore is bright with light streaking. There is no erosion in the choke. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9. 5/10. overall condition: this shotgun retains about 70% of its mostly original metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, scratches, light patina, and scattered surface oxidation. The screw heads show light tooling and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete.
