Bbl. flats stamped w/ Birmingham nitro proofs for 2" chambers & 7/8 oz. shot. Case hardened boxlock action features automatic safety & dbl. triggers. Action engraved w/ sprays of scroll within scroll & line borders. "Webley & Scott LTD." is on each side. Blued top lever, trigger plate & trigger guard have matching borders & some scroll. S# is on trigger guard tang. Relatively plain European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14 1/4" over thin black "Decelerator" pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip & vacant silver oval is on toeline. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: bbls.: bore diameter: right: .735", left: .731". Restriction: right: .007" (IC), left: 0 (CYL). Minimum Wall Thickness: right: .021", left: .021". STOCK: DAH: 2 1/4". DAC: 1 3/8+". LOP: 14 1/4". CAST: approx. 1" off. WEIGHT: 5 lbs. 10 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun accompanied by brown vinyl covered case lined in beige cloth & has "Aztec International" vinyl label in lid. Case contains 2 keys. CONDITION: good to fine as partially refinished. Bbls. retain over 80% of an old reblack. Traces of original case hardening color are on action which is mostly silver gray. Secondary blued parts retain most of their original blue. Trigger guard has been reblued, turned light purple/brown & engraving is slightly softened. Stocks retain most of an old oil refinish. Checkering recut, pad relatively new. Bores are bright & shiny with some leading apparent & 1 or 2 very sm. dents in sides of both bbls. Action is tight, bbls. are on face. Ejectors in time.
