1) OEWG MODEL 71. Cal. 11.15mm. S# 155. Bbl. 20". receiver marked on left flat "K.MOD 71". Marked on right side of receiver ring w/ "RFS" crown proofs. Right side of receiver bridge marked "1876 1877". Marked over chamber on top left flat crown "FW", marked top flat "OESTERR WAFFEB.GES.". Right flat has 6 crown proofs. Numbers match on all parts except buttplate & bolt assembly. Has turned down bolt handle. Incorrect replacement ladder rear sight graduated to 1,600m. Inverted V front sight. Nose cap has protective ears. Bbl. band has saddle ring. Walnut stock. Steel buttplate is unit marked "3.U.1.118". CONDITION: stock has arsenal rework type finish obscuring markings. Has light wear, staining & handling marks. Metal has turned overall gray w/ patina & wear. Has notable oxidation & pitting along wood line. Bore has strong lands turning dark in grooves & scattered very fine pitting throughout. Sight does not seat down correctly in base. (01-17625/RW). 2) LOEWE ARGENTINE 1891 ENGINEER CARBINE. Cal. 7.65 Arg. S# B2820. Bbl. 17 5/8". Bbl. marked behind middle band "765". Marked on left rail "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891 MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN". Receiver ring has intact Argentine crest. Import marked on right side of receiver bridge. All visible numbers match. Turned down bolt handle. Rear sight has been replaced w/ S&K Instamount. Has "C.P. GORZ BERLIN" 2 1/4 telescope sight w/ 7/8" tube. Rings have reducing adapters. Has sharp pointed post reticle. Inverted V front sight. Nose cap has protective ears. Has adapter bands for bayonet mounting. Middle band has swivel for side sling. Mag. retained by safety screw. Saddle ring has been replaced by blank bar. Green web sling. Non matching walnut stock set. Retaining wires for handguard are not present. Front bayonet adapter has been modified by filing around catch area. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked brass muzzle cover. Shortened 9 1/2" fullered blade bayonet & scabbard. Bayonet marked on right ricasso w/ "C0322" & faint "SOLINGEN" mark. Curved quillon. Solid brass grip. Steel scabbard. Bayonets were shortened for Carbine use. Blade has been sharpened & has cleaned appearance w/ wear & spots of discoloration. Worn brass handle has wear & scratches. Bayonet blade is loose in handle. Matching steel scabbard has little finish w/ wear, dents & spots of oxidation throughout. CONDITION: well worn stock set has dents, scratches & staining throughout. Sm. cracks in forend ahead of trigger guard. 2 Notable missing chips in forend. Crack behind receiver tang. Metal has traces of blue turning overall gray w/ patina & wear. Poor worn bore w/ scattered oxidation. Scope retains 75% original blue w/ light wear & scattered spots of light oxidation throughout. Optics appear clear & serviceable. (01-17650/RW).
