1) MODEL 1915. Cal. 9mm Glisenti. S# 1077. Bbl. 3 3/4". Beretta’s first military pistol of only 16,000 mfg. Low numbered variation w/ matching numbered slide & characteristic exaggerated slide stop. Dark checkered wood grips retained by bottom screw. Right top rear of frame w/ circled “IF”. 9mm Glisenti is the same as 9mm Luger dimensionally, but has less power; 9mm Luger should under no circumstances be used in this pistol. MAGS: 1 good reproduction 8 rd. CONDITION: very good appearing grips retained by new replacement screws. Slide void of finish & cleaned of prior oxidation, leaving light pits but clear markings. Frame has light prior pitting on front strap & noticeable wear in grip area along w/ appearance of polishing plus refinish. Fair bore w/ light wear to rifling & even light to moderate pitting. (20-1456/NW). 2) MODEL 1922. Cal. 7.65mm (32 ACP). S# 235427. Bbl. 3 3/8". Successor of model 1915-1917 mfg. 1922-1932 in S# range 200,000-243,000 w/ more open matching numbered slide & modern slide stop. 2 Proofs at upper left rear of frame. Stamped metal “PB” logo grooved metal grips each retained by single screw. MAGS: 1 very good replacement 8 rd. CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ high point & function wear plus some areas of pinprick oxidation along w/ patina in grip area. Good plus bore w/ slight ring at front third of bbl. Extremely stiff recoil spring. (20-1458/NW). BOTH CURIO. $700-1,000.
