1) ARGENTINE MODEL 1891 CARBINE. Cal. 7.65 ARG. S# A8901. Bbl. 17 3/4". S# match on receiver, bolt & bbl. Turned down bolt handle. Receiver is marked on left side "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891 Manufactura Loewe Berlin". Receiver ring has intact Argentine crest. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1,400 meters. Inverted V front sight, enhanced in white. Nose cap w/ protective ears. Lower band has side swivel. Walnut stock w/ saddle ring bar. Saddle ring is not present. Stock markings are faint. Mag. has added retaining screw. CONDITION: arsenal rework stock has loss of wood & inland areas. Light wear & handling marks throughout. Sm. inletted repair at left heel. Metal has 90% arsenal rework blue finish w/ light wear & scattered scratches. Bore has worn lands & frosted appearance in grooves. (01-19420/RW). ANTIQUE.
2) SWEDISH MODEL 94 OBERNDORF CONTRACT CARBINE. Cal. 6.5 X 55. S# 3017. Bbl. 17 3/4". Receiver ring is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N INTERARMCO G 33/50". These rifles were imported in the 1950s & given the G33/50 designation at the time of arrival in the United States. Turned down bolt handle. Rear sight has been removed & replaced by long eye relief scope mt. by B-SQUARE. Inverted V front sight. Nose cap has protective ears, not fitted w/ bayonet lug. Provision for side sling. Walnut handguard hardwood replacement stock retains ladder sling attachment on right side of butt. Brass disk on right side marked "L", "125", "NO1522". CONDITION: replacement stock has light wear & scattered handling marks. Original handguard has similar wear w/ slightly more finish. Metal has 80% original blue finish w/ additional blue applied over Interarmco marking. Very good shiny bore. (21-1936/RW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
