1) "L. COON" HEAVY BARREL HALF STOCK TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 40. NSN. Weighing in at approx 11 lbs, this gun exhibits 32" oct. bbl. marked on top flat "L.COON / CAST STEEL / PATENT". German silver mounted w/ several decorative inlays. Back action lock marked "C. BAKER". Dovetailed brass blade front sight & adj. notch rear sight. CONDITION: good overall. Bbl. retains approx. half of its original blue finish w/ thinning. Dbl. set triggers function well. There is an old nailed wrist repair. All German silver inlays are intact. Rifled bore still crisp w/ pitting. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Ronald A. Katchuk. (01-16695/JS). 2) BUCKHAM HEAVY BARREL TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 50. S# 27. 11.5 lb rifle w/ 34" oct. bbl. marked on top flat "A BUCKHAM / DELHI NY" & "WARRENTED / CAST STEEL" on either side of S# "27". Half stock rifle is brass mounted w/ pewter nose cap & single key holding stock to bbl. Dbl. set triggers. Rear tang sight. Middle adj. notch & front hooded post front sight. CONDITION: good overall. Bbl. is a mixed gray/brown patina w/ pitting. Brass has medium mustard patina. Appears all original w/ exception of 1 replaced trigger guard screw.
