Donated by Jody and Scott Cargill, second generation owner/operators of Iron Wheel Guest Ranch, this two-day three-night guided float fishing trip on the Jefferson River in Montana for two people is a great way to experience the Big Sky Country!
During this trip you will wet your lines in search of rainbow trout, brown trout, and cutthroat trout on the Jefferson River. If Blue Ribbon rivers are on your mind, upgrades to fish the Madison or Big Hole Rivers are available upon request.
This trip is available between May and August 2020 *OR* if COVID19 interferes with planning, the trip will be available between May and August 2021.
Included in this trip is a stay at the Iron Wheel Guest Ranch bed and breakfast located in the
Highland mountains near Whitehall Montana for meals and lodging; transportation to and from fishing area. We recommend that clients reserve a car in case they decide to extend their Montana vacation or to visit local destinations after fishing is finished for the day.
Not included are your MT fishing license, alcohol, or gratuities. A two-day fishing
license is anticipated to be $50 for the 2020 season but has not yet been announced by MT
FWP.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard item merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction. Any item not paid for or claimed after payment will be returned to CA WSF for disposition.

The following provisions will apply to Bidders participating in online bidding:
California Wild Sheep Foundation (“CA WSF”), is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization and was formed to promote and enhance increasing populations of indigenous wild sheep to California, to safeguard against the decline or extinction of such species, and to fund programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum. The items, trips, and “Conservation Permits” being offered for sale were allocated to CA WSF by the California Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the Alaska Dept of Fish and Game and other third parties.
Any bid made at a CA WSF online auction constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase and requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction, or upon terms mutually agreed upon by CA WSF and the bidder, prior to the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the seventh business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 percentage point per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late.
CA WSF strongly encourages Conservation Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the state of the permit. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, DOB, Credit card number. Your address will be verified by anAddress Verification System. All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from CA WSF Auction Team for verification. PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL 3% PROCESSING FEE. Credit Card purchases can be processed through the CA WSF website www.cawsf.org.

ABSENTEE BID INFORMATION: If you are bidding on behalf of another individual, you will have to provide your name, email address and phone number, in addition to the above listed information for the actual permit buyer.
