MUSKETS & JAMBIYA. 1) ALL METAL BALKAN FISHTAIL MIQUELET. Cal. 60. NSN. Bbl. 46 1/2". 59" Overall. All metal, including stock. 7 Brass bbl. bands w/ Arabesque design. Well made miquelet lock has unknown maker’s cartouche. CONDITION: good to very good. Appears original & complete. Mechanically fine w/ clear smooth bore. 2) NORTH AFRICAN STYLE FLINTLOCK MUSKET W/ JAMBIYA. Cal. 60. NSN. Bbl. 44" tapered oct. bbl. 59" Overall. Band attached to stock & ramrod thimbles have numerous rotations of thin brass wire. Stock is heavily packed. Made w/ out trigger guard, utilizing unmarked military style trade lock. Lock & trigger escutcheons are made from polished bone. Attached to butt w/ old rubber bands that have melted onto butt is jambiya. 16" Overall w/ a traditional 9" curved blade. CONDITION: good overall. Gun & knife appear complete. There is a lg. crack w/ glue repair near tail of buttplate & the attached carved butt pad section is separated by a sm. gap where nailed.
