1) ANKARA MODEL 1938. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 37052. Bbl. 28 7/8". Straight bolt handle. Receiver marked on top w/ crescent moon "TC ASFA ANKARA 1939". Rear sight has been replaced by SK scope mt. Has Nostar 2-7x32 long eye relief scope w/ duplex reticle. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Vintage military sling. Walnut stock set w/ pistol grip, steel takedown hole. Trigger guard has thick Turkish style floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 9 7/8" fullered blade bayonet w/ smooth walnut handles. Bayonet marked on left ricasso "WEYERSBURG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN". Marked on left ricasso w/ star in shield & 3 interlocking circles. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet blade has scattered spots of oxidation. Grips have moderate wear & scratches. Blued scabbard has thinning finish w/ spots of oxidation. (20-1144/RW). 2) DWM MODEL 1891 ARGENTINE. Cal. 7.65 Argentine. S# T1218. Bbl. 29 1/4". Numbers match on receiver & bbl. Markings enhanced in white. Receiver marked on left rail "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891 DUETCH WAFFEN UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN". Argentine crest is intact. Straight bolt handle. Rear sight replaced by "S&K" mt. using long eye relief scope in see through scope rings. Trigger guard does not have mag. retaining screw. 4x32 scope w/ range finding reticle. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Has vintage military carrying strap. Walnut stock set. Wire handguard retainers missing. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 15 3/4" fullered blade bayonet w/ curved quillon. Left ricasso marked "WEYERSBURG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN". Right ricasso marked "MODELO ARGENTINO 1891" Argentine crest has been removed. Alloy grips. Steel scabbard. Blade has light wear & scattered spots of oxidation. Balance of metal turning overall patina. Steel scabbard has arsenal black finish. CONDITION: unmarked stock set has early arsenal rework finish w/ loss of wood in inletted areas. Has 1 1/2" crack behind receiver tang. Notable sm. gouges along right side of forend. Metal has traces of blue turning gray & patina w/ oxidation & scattered pitting throughout. Notable pitting on bbl. underneath handguard. Fair worn bore turning dark in grooves. Scope optics appear clear & serviceable. (20-1310/RW). BOTH CURIO. $350-500.
