1) Stein measures 11 1/4". The body of the stein reads "Du warst mein Trost in truben Stunden, Dies hab ich als Soldat empfunden." near the base. The top reads "Inft. Anton Frank, b. 11. Inft. Rgt. 1. Comp.1907/09 Regensburg." The central portion includes vivid polychromatic scenes of a soldier in a firing line, on guard duty, walking with a woman, in a wagon, and riding a goat. The base has a lithophane that shows a peasant with his wife. Elaborate pewter domed lid has a seated infantry soldier toasting with his canteen. CONDITION: light wear overall. The finial is slightly bent. 2) Stein measures 7". The body of the stein reads "2 Comp. 1. Bad. Leib Gren. Regt. Nr. 109. Karlsruhe. 1907-1909" near the base. The top reads "Es lebe hoch das Regiment das sich mit Stolz das Erste nennt." The central portion includes vivid polychromatic scenes of Grenadier soldiers relaxing in a field, standing guard duty, charging in formation, and shows a soldier hugging his wife. The base has a lithophane that shows a soldier holding hands with his wife. Lid is missing. CONDITION: light wear overall. 3) A WWI German regimental cup given to the soldier's aunt as a gift. The front of the cup reads "Meiner lieb Tante". The cup shows the soldier having tea and an artillery train being driven uphill. A very decorative teacup of the WWI era seldom seen today. CONDITION: the cup has a single crack on the right side. 4) WWI German glass beer stein of a thumbprint pattern with a pewter lid that has a WWI Iron Cross on the top. The thumb rest is in the shape of a diving eagle. CONDITION: no damage. 5) A WWI German schnapps glass with an Iron Cross on the front. CONDITION: no damage. 6) A modern stoneware miniature stein that says "Deutschland" on the front with a pewter lid. CONDITION: no damage. 7) A small 1 1/4" miniature stein that has a Stahlhelm helmet on the front with the words "Reserve hat Rub". CONDITION: no damage.
