2 WWII GERMAN CAPS & A HUNTING FEDORA.

1) FIRE POLICE. This visor cap has a dark navy blue crown with a black band. It is piped in orange throughout. There is an zinc police eagle at the front of the crown along with a small zinc wreath with a central national cockade at the front of the band. Black visor with black leather chinstrap terminated by black enameled buttons. Gray sweatband with rounded diamond shaped sweatshield. Sweatshield is embossed "Litte Mutze -WIEN- Sonderklasse". Orange cotton lining with coated crown. CONDITION: cap shows evidence of scattered mothing with 4 small period repaired holes in the crown. Sweatband & lining show light wear. Sweatshield shows moderate wear.
2) STATION MASTER. This scarce visor cap is for a railway stationmaster & features a red crown with a black velvet band. It is piped in red throughout. There is a gilded railway eagle at the front of the crown along with a national cockade at the front of the band. Black visor with black leather chinstrap terminated by gold pebble finished buttons. Brown sweatband with diamond shaped sweatshield. Sweatshield is embossed in silver, "Carl Isken UNIFORM-MUTZEN-FABRIK Koln". Orange/brown cotton lining with coated crown. CONDITION: cap shows some light moth tracks. Sweatband has a bit of flexing. Interior shows light wear.
3) HUNTING FEDORA. An interesting German Hunting Association fedora in sage green with forest green band & edging. There is a gilded Party eagle above crossed rifles & target pin on the front of the fedora. The left side has a few feathers tucked into the band & another gilded pin featuring crossed rifles with a target & hunting horn. The brown sweatband is marked, "Rheinhut" & "A. Durmeier Rastatt Herrenstr 7". There are oval initials applied to the sweatband that read, "W W". CONDITION: hat shows light wear overall. (02-17097/BF). $1,000-1,300.
