2018 GOABC Annual Auction

Auction Details

The Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia (GOABC) is a nonprofit society that was established in 1966 to represent the guide outfitting industry to government, and advocate for science-based wildlife management.

Our vision is for a province with a strong and stable guide outfitting industry and abundant big game populations for all to enjoy, both today and in the future. As passionate advocates for wildlife, the GOABC is the recognized voice of the guide outfitting family. With integrity and professionalism, GOABC promotes conservation, stewardship, and sustainable use of wildlife.

GOABC encourages you to bid with confidence knowing that your support is providing the funds necessary to further our organization’s mission.

To help you enjoy the live auction and ensure you are a successful in bidding on your chosen items, we would like to make the following suggestions:
• Read the description of each lot carefully from this catalogue prior to the auction.
• Ask questions ahead of time, reach out to the donor regarding their donation.
• Please note that some items may have minimum bids or other conditions that will be announced by the auctioneer.

The values placed on all auction items have been provided by the donors. GOABC has no responsibility or control over these values. GOABC does not act as an agent for, or represent, either the buyer or seller, but merely provides an environment for binding together the buyer and seller for sales transactions.

Special arrangements other than what is set forth in the auction profile and/or catalogue are expressly between the donor and the bidder. All hunts/trips are non-transferrable unless negotiated between the buyer and the donor.

GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this catalogue or listed on www.onlinehuntingauctions.com. Trips must be taken within the dates specified. Buyers relieve GOABC of any liability relating to changes made by donor. GOABC reserves the right of refusal of the bid on any item that does not meet 50-70% of market value. All goods and services are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of GOABC.
All auction bids will be in Canadian funds unless otherwise noted prior to the auction. Successful bidders must sign an auction receipt as soon as the auctioneer accepts the final bid on the article. In the case of a disputed bid, the bid may be reopened at the discretion of the auctioneer, whose decision is final.

Pick up of purchased items will be from the North Hallway, next to the Okanagan Ballroom. Proof of payment will be required before any item may be claimed. You will receive a copy of the receipt upon payment.

Payment for auction items can be made by cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Debit. The 5% GST will be added to the final bid of all items.
