South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks
100% of the sale price for South Dakota’s Bighorn Sheep auction tag will be returned to South Dakota Game Fish and Parks for bighorn sheep management. The license is nontransferable and valid during the 2018 season which runs from Sept. 1, 2018 - Dec. 31, 2018. This tag will be good for the Elk Mountain unit (BHS-BH2-21) which is Custer County west of SD Highway 79 except Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, and Jewel Cave Nation Park. Harvesting rams in the 170”-180” is typical. Tag is available to residents and nonresidents.
