SCI LANSING AREA CHAPTER is a Section 501(c)(4), non-profit membership organization. Our members are conservationists who hunt. Our mission is conservation of wildlife, education of the public, and advocacy for hunting and hunters' rights. SCI LANSING AREA CHAPTER appreciates the support of its donors and members in helping to further its programs and goals. Auction revenue funds a great portion of SCI LANSING AREA CHAPTER's operating budget. The majority of the dollars raised goes to support SCI LANSING AREA CHAPTER's conservation and education programs and for protection of the hunter. The term “auction” refers to silent auction, live auction, and raffle.
SCI LANSING AREA CHAPTER is also dedicated to promoting the safe and legal ownership and use of firearms as expressed in our inalienable rights under the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America so that those who are legally permitted to purchase and sell firearms may collect and use firearms for competitive events or for other sporting purposes.
*** NOTICE *** Due to the COVID-19 virus, the Governor of Michigan issued an order banning all gatherings of 250 people or more. That, of course, affects our local annual event this online auction is connected to and affects our donors. We are encouraging all local annual event attendees to join this online auction. This year, we will be WAIVING THE 5% BIDDER'S PREMIUM FOR ALL BIDDERS. Bid high and often!! All funds raised go to the mission of SCI (see description above)!
