Available for Wyoming Resident or Non-resident. Winner chooses to hunt Elk, Deer, or
Antelope. Once species is chosen, the winner must choose any open hunt area for that species
and follow the hunting regulations and season dates for that area.
If a non-resident wins the Commissioner Licenses, they will NOT lose their preference points.
Winner can still apply for and obtain Wyoming licenses regularly for same species.

The recipients of these licenses must designate the specific hunt area in which they want the
license issued. The recipients of these licenses must pay the full price for the license.
The recipient of the commissioner license authorization may only transfer the license
authorization to another person if no additional consideration above the bid or raffle price is paid
by the transferee.
The recipient of the license authorization may donate the license authorization back to the
nonprofit charitable organization that originally bid the license authorization to be rebid to a new
highest bidder.
Once the actual license is issued, it cannot be cancelled or transferred.
All big game licenses authorized under this section are valid for a specific region or hunt area as
designated by the applicant at the time of application for license issuance. The specific region, or
hunt area, or type shall not be changed following the issuance of the license by the Department.
Holders of commissioner licenses shall be exempt from Commission regulations limiting the
number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year.

Converse County SFW is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to Converse County SFW are deductible
under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consult your tax professional for the
deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
Hunter must be eligible to hunt in Wyoming and must follow the rules and regulations for
hunting in Wyoming. Credit card or certified check are both accepted. A 3.5% fee will be
charged on credit card purchases.
Any bid made at the Converse County SFW auction constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the
item bid at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding
contract, AND requires that the bid amount be paid per the terms of the auction.
All auctions are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items.

Commissioner Complimentary Licenses
Wyoming statutes provide that each appointed commissioner may cause, through the issuance of license authorizations to nonprofit charitable organizations, to be issued at full price,complimentary elk, deer or antelope licenses. All big game licenses authorized under this section are valid for a specific region or hunt are as designated by the license holder at the time of application. Holders of Commissioner Complimentary licenses shall be exempt from the provisions in this Chapter limiting the number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year. As a condition to issuance of a Commissioner Complimentary license, the Department shall require an authorized officer of the recipient organization to certify under penalty of the law that the respective organization is a nonprofit, charitable organization as defined in this regulation and eligible to receive the Commissioner Complimentary license authorization.
INSTRUCTIONS
There is no deadline to submit the application and license fee. Please allow two (2) weeks to process and return your license prior to your intended hunt. When requesting last-minute license issuance, twenty-four (24) hour notice is required. This is to ensure arrangements are made for the appropriate personnel to be available to issue the license.
The original application form must be returned for license issuance. This form cannot be copied. The printing of duplicate applications is intended for selling organizations who did not receive their original application or they cannot locate it. The Department will only issue duplicate license applications at the request of the selling organizations for the reason explained.
Once the license is issued, the license cannot be cancelled, fees refunded, or transferred to another individual. In addition, the license cannot be changed to another hunt area/type or carried over into the next hunt year.
