Raised At Full Draw (RAFD) has been selected by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to receive a 2026 Special Nonresident Deer License, which is being auctioned to raise funds supporting conservation and conservation-education efforts in Iowa.
THE LICENSE INCLUDES:
Statewide Iowa deer hunting
Choice of Archery, Gun 1, Gun 2 or Late Muzzleloader
May be used during the 2026 deer season or held over for the following year's deer season
The buyer may choose to designate the license to another nonresident hunter

RAFD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to introducing youth and adults to archery, bowhunting and the outdoors through hands-on camps, mentoring and outdoor education.
Our programs currently reach participants across Iowa, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, where we host camps.
WE DON'T JUST TEACH KIDS HOW TO SHOOT A BOW.
Our 4-day overnight camps are designed to give youth ages 11–17 a true introduction to the outdoors and bowhunting.
Campers experience:
🏹 Archery & Bowhunting
Learn proper shooting, equipment use, shot placement and bowhunting fundamentals.
⛺ 4-Day Overnight Tent Camping
Campers spend four days together outdoors, learning to work as a team and experience life away from screens and everyday distractions.
🎯 Equipment for Every Camper
Not every kid owns a bow or hunting equipment and that's okay. RAFD provides archery equipment for campers to use throughout the four-day camp, so lack of equipment never has to be the reason a young person misses the opportunity.
🌲 Hands-On Hunting Education
Campers learn how to use tree stands, ground blinds, game calls, releases and other hunting equipment through hands-on instruction.
🔥 Outdoor Skills
We teach campers how to start and safely manage a fire, build shelter and develop practical outdoor preparedness skills.
🇺🇸 Tradition & Responsibility
Each day begins and ends with campers raising and lowering the American flag, helping instill respect, responsibility and appreciation for the outdoors.
🦌 Hunting Ethics & Conservation
We teach more than how to harvest an animal. Campers learn about ethical hunting, responsibility, conservation and respect for wildlife and the outdoors.

After payment is provided, Raised At Full Draw will put the winning bidder in touch with the Iowa DNRs main contact Denise Roberg, Specialty License Manager, to specify choice of season.
Reminder: The Iowa non-resident deer tag is available for the 2026 or 2027 season.
The buyer of the special nonresident deer license can choose the season they would like to hunt (Archery, Gun 1, Gun 2 or Late Muzzleloader) and can choose to use it this year or hold it over to the following year’s deer season. These licenses can be used statewide so they do not need to indicate a specific zone. Additionally, the buyer of the license can choose to issue the license to another nonresident hunter.
The $498 cost of the nonresident deer tag will come out of the DNR’s share of the sale.
The $144 hunt and habitat fee is the responsibility of the hunter.

RAFD IOWA SPECIAL NONRESIDENT DEER LICENSE — AUCTION TERMS
Terms & Conditions
BINDING BIDS: All bids are final and binding. By placing a bid, the bidder agrees to purchase the auction item if they are the winning bidder.
LICENSE: This auction is for one 2026 Iowa Special Nonresident Deer License issued through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources or can be used for 2027. The license is subject to all applicable Iowa laws, rules, regulations and Iowa DNR requirements.
SEASON: The winning bidder may choose Archery, Gun 1, Gun 2 or Late Muzzleloader and may choose to use the license during the 2026 deer season or hold it over for the following 2027 year's deer season, as permitted by the Iowa DNR.
DESIGNATION: The buyer may choose to designate the license to another nonresident hunter, subject to Iowa DNR requirements.
NO HUNTING PROPERTY INCLUDED: No hunting land, hunting access, guide, outfitter, lodging, meals, transportation, equipment or other hunting services are included with this license.
HUNTING RESPONSIBILITY: The winning bidder/hunter is responsible for complying with all Iowa hunting laws and regulations and for obtaining any additional licenses, permits, fees or requirements applicable to the hunt. The $144 Hunt & Habitat fee is the responsibility of the hunter.
NO GUARANTEED HARVEST: RAFD makes no guarantee regarding hunting access, deer activity, weather, hunting conditions, harvest success or the size or quality of any deer.
ALL SALES FINAL: No refunds, exchanges or cancellations will be permitted after the auction closes and the winning bid is accepted.
IOWA DNR CONTROL: The license remains subject to Iowa DNR rules and the conditions of the license. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Iowa DNR requirements, Iowa law and Iowa DNR requirements shall control.
NON-PAYMENT: Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the winning bid and further action in accordance with Online Hunting Auctions' policies and Iowa DNR requirements.
