This is a 5-day combo hunt for one (1) Red Stag, one (1) Alpine Chamois and one (1) Bull Tahr for one (1) hunter in the Cardona Valley of New Zealand including lodging, meals, and guide services with Cardrona Outfitters. The Red Stag is a much sought after beast. Weighing up to 750 pounds the stag’s popularity in the hunting community stems from its spectacular antlers. The antlers are astonishing with size reaching as much as forty-five inches with up to sixty-six points. Chamois will take you to the highest peaks, with the most spectacular views. Watch in awe as they climb to such great heights. The Bull Tahr is a very challenging and ultimately rewarding alpine hunt. The mountainous terrain and high altitudes add to the thrill of the hunt, though not for the faint hearted. Helicopters provide the best access points to the Chamois and Bull Tahr and give a spectacular aspect of the seemingly desolate alpine region. Situated in the Cardrona Valley a 10-minute drive from Lake Wanaka and a 30 minute drive from Queenstown, in the heart of New Zealand’s spectacular Southern Alps region, Cardrona Outfitters has the reputation for providing a challenging hunting experience for some of the world's most majestic game animals. Enjoy the satisfaction of a alpine hunting adventure set in spectacularly scenic terrain of the Cardrona Valley. After a hard days' hunting, kick back and enjoy some New Zealand hospitality in Cardrona's custom-built cabins nestled amongst a stand of pines overlooking the hunting grounds. Local produce will be on the menu and the chilly bin will be stocked. You can hang out on the outdoor deck and take in the beautiful surrounds or relax in the lounge by the cozy fire and yak about the days’ events. You can expect the best with Cardrona Outfitters with extreme hunting, comfortable lodgings, breathtaking views, and great company!
INCLUDES: 5 days hunting, lodging, food and beverages, transfers to and from airport, guide services, field prep for trophies, and trophy fees for one (1) red stag up to 320 SCI, one (1) bull tahr, and one (1) chamois.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Hunt to be taken during March to August 2026. Contact the outfitter within 30 days of purchase to schedule dates. The winning bidder has the option to upgrade the red stag to 350 SCI for a reduced price of $1,500 or to 380 SCI for a reduced price of $2,800. Helicopters are used to elevate you high into the Chamois alpine territory, helicopter fees are an additional cost at $2,300 per hour (Hunter should allow 1 hour of helicopter time per tahr or chamois hunted). One hunter can be added for the same package at a reduced price of $7,000 or two hunters can be added at a reduced price of $12,000.

Shipping arrangements/payments are solely between winning bidder and the shipper of their choice. Heartland DSC assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be shipped to buyers until Heartland DSC bank confirms full payment has been received for the item and the cost of the shipping. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until up to 30 days after the close of auction.

All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED. No payments will under any circumstances be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified bidder. The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. The winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgment at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has been processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, Heartland DSC will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, Heartland DSC may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. Heartland DSC reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, the bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. Heartland DSC reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR HEARTLAND DSC
GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by Heartland DSC and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. GOODS ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF HEARTLAND DSC. HEARTLAND DSC MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM THE SAME. Heartland DSC does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. SERVICES: All services (hunts or otherwise) in the live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles have been acquired from and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. SERVICES ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF HEARTLAND DSC. HEARTLAND DSC MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE SAME. No services are to be or will be performed by Heartland DSC and the entity shall bear no responsibility for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or nonperformance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, Heartland DSC cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, pandemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the confines of the United States, nor can Heartland DSC be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise therefrom. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services acquired by the high bidder at the auction, Heartland DSC shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
9. Successful bidders are required to contact outfitters and service providers within 60 days of the auction to schedule and reserve dates.
10. Purchased trips cannot be combined to run adjacent or concurrent with any other purchased donations without approval of all involved outfitters.
11. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Heartland DSC will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on Heartland DSC`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. Heartland DSC does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
12. Heartland DSC may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
13. CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS Heartland DSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Consult your tax professional for deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases
14. AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR HEARTLAND DSC. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the Heartland DSC Banquet & Auction, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the Heartland DSC Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The Heartland DSC Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of Heartland DSC. Heartland DSC auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by Heartland DSC. If a refund or credit is approved by the Heartland DSC Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third-party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to Heartland DSC for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of Heartland DSC and all Board decisions are final.
