Fine and unusual set of French percussion target pistols in excellent condition cased with accessories. Measures 14" overall with 9" octagon barrels of approximately 11mm or .44 caliber rifled. Unusual late percussiondesign with beautiful high polish blue and vibrant color case hardening of which 90%-98% remains. The stocks are finely checkered with a select grain to wood. The case contains a matching case hardened mold,mallet, 2 rods, screwdriver and key is in the compartment. The green French style lining is also near fine with only slight fading and aging. The exterior of the box has a pronounced grain with brass carrying handleand mounts. The box is in very good plus condition with minor scratches, mars, and normal aging. The style of these pistols is attributed to Devisme although unsigned and no visible proofs or markings. They may besigned beneath the barrels or in interior however we did not disassemble.
