Exceptional 1860 N.C.O. sword by Emerson and Silver, Trenton (N.J.), U.S. marked and inspected by D.F.M. dated 1863. Original brass mounted scabbard retained with browned finish to the body. The blade shows most ofits original polish and the cast grip and hilt are crisp. There is a D.F.M. inspection also on the bow of the guard. Some minor dents on the drag and throat. A strong 8.5-9 on a 1-10 scale. Est.: $250-$500+
