Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring carbine, .25 WCF, Serial #838126. The carbine is in fair overall condition with a 20” barrel. The metal surfaces have gone to grey patina with the period replacement front sightfashioned from an Indian Head penny and the rear ladder intact. The saddle ring is retained and the markings are sharp. The smooth wood stock is rough with numerous dents and contusions. The butt stock isproud at the tang and at the crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are sharp. Est.: $400-$800. (C+R).
