Japanese Wakasashi or medium size sword for samurai in traditional mountings showing gold inlay and fancy menuki of quiver and arrows. The sword has a 20 plus inch cutting edge with no visible cracks or core showing. Thetemper line is visible around the tip and it has been incorrectly cleaned. The blade shows some finger prints and scratching. The grip is rusted onto the tang and unable to be removed.
