Very rare Remington Model 760 Gamemaster pump action rifle, #418412, .223 cal, 22 1/4" barrel, detachable mag, checkered wood stock with original aluminum butt plate, with sling swivels, leather sling, and mounted with aTasco 3x9 scope. Rifle remains in near fine original condition, retaining approximately 98%+ original finish, receiver and trigger guard with a few light scratches and minor finish loss. Stock is very good plus,buttstock shows scattered scratches and impressions, with a few larger mars to the left side; checkering is excellent. Forend has light impressions in the laquer finish, probably from storage in a boot. Action issmooth and crisp with a minty bore. Optics are bright and clear. Less than 1% of all 760's were in .223 Remington. Mfg 1964. One originall mag. Note: we have seen these priced over $3,000 on collector's lists.(C&R) Est. $400-800
