Remington Model 722 bolt action rifle, .222 Remington caliber, Serial #111821. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 26” barrel with a ramped blade front sight and the rear sight removed and plugged. Themetal surfaces retain nearly all of the blue finish with small scratches and areas of light surface erosion. The checkered wood stock is in very good condition with only light handling marks and the butt ends with a checkered aluminum butt plate. The lot includes a period leather military style sling and sling swivels. The rifle is topped with Weaver rings and a Bushnell Sport view 3 x 9 variable power scope. The bore isgood, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $300-$600. (Modern).
