Colt 1877 Lightning "Storekeepers's Model" DA revolver, #14943, .38 cal, 4 1/2" etched panel barrel, ejectorless, long pin, nickel finish, with checkered logo hard rubber grips. The revolver is in fine conditionoverall, with 92-95% original nickel remaining, some flaking starting at the muzzle and on the top of the receiver, some wear on the backstrap. There is some minor corrosion starting in the flutes of thecylinders. The bore is bright overall, with minor frosting, the action is working. The grips are very good with minor flattening of the checkering, but no chips or cracks. A very nice antique Lightning made in 1879 that has been lightly cleaned. (Antique) Est. $900-1800
