Pre War Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle, .270 Winchester caliber, Serial #19149. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel as professionally restored. The metal surfaces retain nearlyall of an old, high quality refinish. The finely checkered Walnut stock has also been refinished with the checkering refreshed. The butt stock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 13 ¼” LOP. The rifle is topped with a Redfield 2 x 7 variable power scope. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable Pre-WWII Model 70 in the venerable .270 chambering. Est.: $750-$1,500. (C+R).
