Vintage Pre-War Mauser Model 98 sporting rifle, 8mm caliber, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel with a ramped blade front and two-leaf folding rear sights. The barrel retainsapproximately 98% of an old re-blue finish. The receiver has German proofs, a crest on the front ring, a hard chromed butter knife bolt, double set triggers and period claw mounts. The finely checkered wood stock isin very good condition with a half knob pistol grip and sling swivels ending with a horn butt plate providing a 14” LOP. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. The rifle is topped with a vintage Zeiss scope in period claw mounts. Est.: $700-$1,400. (C+R).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
