Colt Model 1855 1st Model rifle reduced to 21" barrel with oiler and rod intact, S/N 432. Two line stamped address in good to very good overall condition with strong evidence of blue mixing with brown patina. Scatteredlight to moderate rust and erosion with some minor pitting. The groove in the frame is mounted with old sight and added post front when shortened during period of use. The stock is good with marks, scratches anddents. Works well with number visible on the cylinder. About 1000 made before the Civil War and generally oiler is lost. Working action (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
