Springfield Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #274800. The rifle is in uncleaned as found condition with a heavy brown patina and light to moderate erosion and pitting. The wood shows many dings, mars and chips.The rifle retains the correct rod and sights with the markings visible. The trigger guard swivel is missing. The action is good, the bore is dark and dirty but may clean up. A nice, as found, “out of the attic” conditiontrapdoor. Est.: $400-800 (Antique).

All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
