Colt Burgess .44-40 caliber octagon barrel lever action rifle, S/N 4128. Good to very good condition with sharp edges and good address. Rampant Colt is 80% visible on the frame. Considerable original finish under aclear lacquer coating which covers the entire rifle. The wood is good to very good but also coated with lacquer. Good action and very good bore. We estimate at least 30%-50% blue on the barrel and tube with some finishon the frame. Carefully stripping would improve this Burgess and old collectors often lacquered their guns in the 50s-60s to protect them. (Antique) Est.: $2500-$5000

All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
