1) MANHATTAN HERO SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 34. NSN. Bbl. 3 1/2" rnd. w/ smooth bore. Brass frame w/ spur trigger & center mounted hammer. Left side is marked "HERO / M.F.A. CO.". 2 Piece bag type walnut grips. Total of 30,000 mfg. 1868-1873. CONDITION: metal has faded to gray w/ spots of corrosion. Brass parts show a mild patina. Grips have worn finish showing series of sm. dents at butt. Dark bore w/ light pitting. (01-17113/DS). 2) BROWN MFG CO. SOUTHERNER DERRINGER. Cal. 41 RF. S# 8750. bbl. 2 1/2" oct. that rotates sideways for loading. Top flat is marked "SOUTHERNER". Left flat has Brown Mfg. 3 line address. Brass action w/ spur trigger & center mounted hammer. 2 Piece rosewood grips. Estimated quantity 16,000 mfg. 1866-1873. CONDITION: metal parts have faded to gray showing spots of light pitting. Brass shows a mild patina w/ scattered scratches. Grips show heavy wear & handling marks. Bore is dark w/ areas of deep pitting over intact rifling. (01-17141/DS). 3) HOPKINS & ALLEN XL DERRINGER. Cal. 41 RF. NSN. Bbl. 2 9/16" oct. Top flat is marked "XL DERRINGER". Left flat is marked "PAT. APR. 5, 1870". Iron frame w/ spur trigger & center mounted hammer. 2 Piece bird's head rosewood grips. Estimated quantity 2,000 mfg. in the 1870's. CONDITION: bbl. retains 70% nickel finished showing spots of pitting & corrosion. Action has faded to gray patina. Grips show wear & handling marks. Bore is dark w/ intact rifling & scattered spots of pitting. (01-17142/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
