1) SPRINGFIELD 1863 RIFLE-MUSKET. Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl. shortened to 33" w/ a reattached barleycorn front sight & original 2 leaf rear sight. US Springfield marked lock is dated 1864. 2 Band walnut stock shortened to correspond w/ bbl. length. Iron fittings include musket buttplate, trigger guard, bbl. bands, & nose cap. Replacement tulip tip ramrod. CONDITION: metal is polished to a bright appearance w/ weakened markings & showing spots of remaining pitting. Sights have gray unpolished appearance. Sanded & refinished stock showing dents & handling marks w/ outline of cartouche on right ear. Bore retains lightly worn sound rifling. (01-19909/DS).
2) SPRINGFIELD 1873 TRAPDOOR. Cal. 45-70. S# 69742. Bbl. 32 5/8". Barleycorn front sight. Rear sight is removed. High arch breech block w/ no visible markings on top, bottom is stamped "12" w/ lazy "C". US Springfield marked lock plate is undated. Band fastened walnut stock w/ iron fittings include buttplate, trigger guard, nose cap & front band. Slotted tipped ramrod. CONDITION: bbl. & action show evidence of cleaning w/ gray/brown appearance having areas of surface rust & light handling marks. Bbl. loose on frame & turned 30 degrees to the right. Lock, trigger guard & buttplate have brightly polished finish w/ weak or removed markings. Tang screw is missing. Wood has age darkened appearance w/ chips around the lock & tang areas. Toe of buttplate has nail type repair. Bore retains intact rifling showing spots of heavy pitting. (01-19910/DS).
3) REMINGTON NO. 1 MILITARY ROLLING BLOCK CARBINE. Cal. 43 Spanish (or similar cartridge). NSN. Bbl. 20 1/2" rnd. w/ oct. shank. Blade front sight w/ single folding leaf rear sight. Left side of action has saddle ring & bar. Band fastened walnut forearm & straight grip buttstock w/ steel carbine buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. & receiver are polished bright w/ weakened markings showing spots of remaining pitting. Trigger guard, bbl. band, sights & other action parts are reblued showing pitting. Heavily sanded wood shows numerous dents & marks. Right side of forearm shows 2 3/4" section of removed wood along bbl. channel. Swivel inletting in toeline has epoxy fill. Bore retains strong rifling showing scattered very light pitting. (01-19911/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $600-1,000.
