Young’s Wilderness Camp is located on a remote five acre island on Steven Bay, which is seven miles long and comes off the famous Sabaskong Bay, Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada. It is the only resort located on Stevens Bay so fishing and hunting pressure are low as there is no public access into this area. Steven’s Bay is twenty to twenty-five feet deep in the center, with the east end of the bay being shallow, approximately eight to ten feet deep. It is an excellent spawning ground for all species as there are numerous bays and coves with weed beds that drop off to the deeper water. The Musky fisherman will see trophy fish over fifty inches long. Northern Pike, Walleye and Lake Trout are plentiful and every so often you will catch a real trophy fish. Small mouth and Largemouth Bass provide real excitement, especially if you use light tackle. Crappies have become so numerous they can be caught right from our dock in the spring and fall. Included with this donation for two people are everything needed: Meals, lodging with private shower, maid service, boat, roomy deluxe boat equipped with pedestal seats, casting platform, live well, trolling motor, depth finder, storage space and powered by a 40 h.p. Yamaha electric start motor, unlimited gas, transportation to and from the island, use of boat and motor from 2:00pm on day of arrival, private parking, dinner on day of arrival and breakfast on day of departure and 8 day conservation fishing license. Pick up point is a private landing in Nestor Falls, Ontario. All you need to bring is your fishing equipment, appropriate clothes, snacks and personal items. We take care of the rest! Extra days of fishing may be purchased at the regular rate of about $300 per person per day in Canadian Funds! Value: $2,150.00
